Conditions of Use
- Vermilion North Pines property is the former site of an early 1900s mining community. Some historic remnants (wire, old tin, unstable structures) are still present. Please stay on the trails, be cautious, and take your time.
- Trail users are encouraged to notify us of any fallen trees or impediments found on the trails.
- We are caretakers all. Users are encouraged to keep trails clear for all.
- Silence or quietude allows for more chance encounters in nature. Nature is best left as it is. Remove everything you bring. Don’t leave a thing.
- Human-walking trails are established and marked. Please stay off well-travelled animal trails.
- Dogs are welcome walking companions. Please keep your dog in control at all times and toss any dog waste off the walking paths.
- Fires may only be lit in designated fire pits, according to law, and must be fully extinguished prior to departure.
